Do you ever look at your calendar for the next day/week/month and feel like you are drowning? I know (presumably) busier families and I honestly don’t know how they do it. Maybe the point is not to look too far ahead, not to think too hard about it. Take it one day at a time. And remember to take deep breaths. Often.
Rarely do we have conflicts. I’m carpooling with a mom whose daughter is on the same two soccer teams with Mare, so the Thursday night conflict with Bird’s dance class is solved. Plus, with two soccer games every Saturday for two and a half months, I found that only two of Bird and Mare’s games overlapped. Luckily, Mare’s select team plays on Friday nights.
Sometimes I feel guilty that Chip doesn’t have anything. No swim lessons like his sisters took. No music or tumbling classes. Thank goodness.
