Geography Wizard

Bird did very well in Geography this past semester. Of all things. When I said something to her about how the globe grandma got her for Christamas must have had a lot to do with it, she blew that off, explaining to her (idiotic) mom that she didn’t get the globe until after the semester was almost over. Like, duh.

This geography thing, though, it is a slippery concept.  Last week Emmy was listening to Mare and Bird talk about the war. Mare wondered what the name of that country was we are fighting in. Bird got all attitude-y and said “It’s called Delaware, Mare.”

  1. hahahahahaha ha very amusing. I love when the kids think they are so smart and then come out with something like that. Kids say the funniest things.

  2. I was hoping I conveyed her attitude in that post! Because it was what made it so funny.

About the attitude. She is only 8.5. I do believe this is a prime example of what goes around comes around. My mom, I’m sure, would agree.
