I am 37, wife to one, mother to three, friend to some and friendly to most.
I grew up in the Suburbs of St. Louis. I still live in the same town I grew up in, though I did move away for college and a brief stint in Knoxville, Tennessee. Adventure is not my middle name, though I wish it were. Sadly, I’m more predictable than I ever dreamed I would be.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and use this every day (ha!) at work. I always wished I had majored in Literature or Art History because I love them. I wasn’t creative enough to figure out what I would do with those degrees, though, and wasn’t brave enough to go for it with out a plan.
In order to be with my kids as much as possible, I revised my schedule when my oldest was a baby so that I arrive at 6 am and leave at 12 pm. I love this flexibility. No amount of money can beat an afternoon at the park.
My kids make me proud (almost) every day. Currently the two girls are 8 and 5 and the boy is 2.
I chose “Heartfull” because my last name is pronounced “hart-line” and one day when I was 24 I had to fire a big, burly laborer who actually thought I was going to give him a raise. After I did the deed, the guys started calling me Sara Hart-less. But of course, that isn’t me. Hopefully this blog will convey that.
