Mare couldn’t sleep Monday night. She told Emmy that she just had to stay up late because it was Pony’s birthday, and all the other stuffed animals were going to the party. Later she told me that sometimes she would accidentally fall asleep and miss part of the party, but then she would wake up and join it again – Pony wasn’t mad at her.
I find this level of sweetness totally intoxicating. She is going through a very intense stuffed animal stage and sometimes I just sit outside her bedroom and listen to her world.
